Let us tell you a story...
Is your house a house of love? Don’t wake up one morning and discover that you have missed the mark. In our journey through life, it is important that we face all the challenges storming our way. But in doing so, we must closely examine and re-examine all the areas of our lives to complete this journey to self-discovery. This is what the characters of "Love Doesn't Live Here Anymore" will discover in this compelling and inspiring piece of Christian fiction.
This is not a book of love poetry. Life is too limited to get stuck in the past. Listen to and ride the rhythm of life! Use your past as a stepping stone to excel in your present and conquer your future. Don’t be discouraged when people let you down or don’t measure up to the mark you have set for them; and, summarily go out and talk about you. They talked about Jesus. So that puts you in GREAT company.
I am a Child of the Most High, Author, (moderately unconventional) Poet, Playwright, Griotte and CEO of Revolutionary Disciples Media I am mommy to the most anointed, precious and handsome little boy in the world.

I chose to develop this thesis to assist people that minister to the sick, the dying, and the people that have been affected by the careless words and insensitivity of others. I have experienced pain and tragedy in my own personal life and as a Hospital Chaplain and Prison Minister I have seen my fair share of pain.
Many of today's most prominent preachers would be labeled heretics hundreds of years ago because MOST clergymen were devout Theologians and serious students of scripture. Today ordination papers and licenses are given to anyone that says they are called to preach. I agree that being Spirit-filled and called is the first priority of being a preacher, but ALSO there has to be training…SERIOUS TRAINING

It is time that we stop seeking advice from everyone else that is not connected to God, and begin to seek the face of God. We seek God through spending time with Him in prayer, fasting, and reading His Word. As He begins to speak to us concerning our petition to Him, we have to write it down. God will unfold His vision to us; however we have to take that vision and write it down and allow Him to bring it to pass.
You must know who you are, whom you belong to, and what your purpose is. Many times you’ve gotten upset with a person because they walked out on you when you thought you needed them the most. However, God was only setting you up. He has to get rid of everything connected to your past in order to take you forward in the things of God.
Author, sister, mother and devoted wife, Dr. Lafils Rivers was called, chosen, and set apart to empower individuals to walk in victory. After being a victim of a sexual assault, suffering from low self-esteem, depression, bulimia, several suicide attempts, and being confined to a wheelchair, God healed her body and allowed her to live and declare His Word. God raised her up, and allowed her to walk in newness of life.

“Life, Hymns & Love Notes, “published by Revolutionary Disciples, is his first published work but don’t let the title think it’s just for the “churched.” Applying the principle of, “being in the world but not of the world,” Terrell poetically addresses various issues concerning both the physical & spiritual being of his fellow man. Along with his CD, “The Audible Experience,” Terrell is seeking to stimulate & educate the mind of his fellow man.
Terrell K. Mercer would tell you there is nothing much to him other than he is just here. A closer look would let you know otherwise. He has been given many titles by others yet they all pale in comparison to servant. Serving God in serving his fellow man is his driving force and passion. He shares his highs as well as his lows in life just to help his fellow man overcome. If he knows it can be a help or blessing to another he will pour it out to be read or heard.

I am writing this book under the direction of the Holy Spirit, because all too often, myself included, I hear the voice of Christians. Those voices wonder and ponder, why me? Well, my question is, “Why not you?” Do you think that you are going through something for nothing? It’s not about you, it’s all about Jesus! If the only begotten Son of God was picked on, lied on, criticized, and scandalized, are you any better? Do you not know who God is? Do you not comprehend how big He is?
God joined our paths at the age of twelve and who would have guessed from one conversation, lasting over twelve hours, we would end up here? We knew from the first time we met that we were destined to be friends for the rest of our lives, but what we didn’t know was that God had a bigger plan at work!

This book is only a fraction of how God has inspired me to reach out to others with the gifts and talents, he has entrusted me with. Through many trials and tribulations God has and still is molding and shaping me. After receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, in 1989, my entire life began to change. My way of thinking, my way of living, my way of loving.
This book poetically unfolds relationships and the power of a vision. The vision I refer to as “My Destiny’s Kiss,’ when you tap into what God has destined for your life. For those who have failed to wait on God as Abraham and Sarah did, I feel ya. Love is beautiful and God created it to be shared unconditionally. We must learn to love ourselves and that love will aggressively spread to others.

Through this story, I hope to relieve my heart and my soul of many years of hurt and pain of not belonging to anyone. I also write this to help children, and teens who know when they are being abused in the home, but afraid to tell. I write to help and encourage biological, foster and adoptive parents as well.

People be Thankful We need to be thankful and grant thanks to God every day. If you can get up early in the morning and open your eyes just to see a brand new day. Give thanks to God even if everything doesn’t go your way. Often in life people are not thankful for what God has blessed them with.
Joyce Knight was born and raised in Lutcher, LA. She worked in the clerical field for over 25 years. She raised her children in the Lord through trials and tribulations.

Speak Out! Speak out on behalf of those who have had no voice. Who live destitute lives without a choice. Silenced by men wholly bent upon evil. Deeds done in darkness I soon will reveal. My desperate children so close to My heart; Will soon know the joy of a brand new start. No longer shrouded in silence, they will soon have a voice. Hearts currently burdened, they soon will rejoice.

As a woman well past the age of thirty, I have had many experiences about which to “ramble”. From the spiritual to the emotional, my heart and mind have undergone many encounters which have left a lasting impression. One subject which I take great delight in “rambling” about is love. Over the years I have had the privilege of having some amazing true love experiences.

Regardless of whether you are a seminary student, Bible scholar, historical Guru, or illiterate, you have no doubt heard the story of Samson and Delilah, for it has been echoed throughout time and passed down from generation to generation. You can ask anyone a Bible Trivia question concerning who Delilah’s victim was, and I am sure that the unanimous answer would be, "Samson."

I am an Eagle; I soar high in the sky, willing to give the other birds a ride. In this story the Eagle is the stronger bird, which extended his greatness to the other birds and carried them abroad without an Ego. Therefore, in life the stronger person should give a helping hand to the weaker individuals without criticism. (Wounding another’s ego)

Oftentimes we as women have certain beliefs, desires, and fantasies regarding our Knights in Shining Armor. Little girls grow up with images of how our marriage should be. We grow up playing house and playing with dolls and dollhouses and we imitate the perfect relationships between the husband and wife. Sadly, I believe we hold on to those images even into adulthood.

Sarah, the donkey, was very old and past her usefulness to the Farmer. Everyday she prayed that her strength would return so that she could pull the plow like she did when she was younger. But, day after day, she grew weaker and watched the younger donkeys do all of the required work around the farm. “Sarah, you were my best worker ever,” the Farmer said, “I hope that you are enjoying your retirement.” Then he patted her head lovingly and fed her the best hay.

Gail also owns a Christian Dance studio and ministers in dance throughout the country. She is the proud mother of Branden James Glover and loving wife of Donny Faust.

.” I started writing this book some years ago—not really knowing what the outcome would be. But I wrote in hopes that someone would read this book and, by chance, the Lord Jesus would reveal Himself to them as He had with me 25 years ago. And that their lives would be changed. It’s about how God can take a nobody and make them a somebody. I have not been the same since.
